What the subject says. Every so often and sometimes several times a day my BJ will buzz me for EVERY reminder in my calendar. I'm running Good Mobile Messaging. Other users in my company have reported the same thing. This never happened on the E62s and Treos that we used to use. This morning I finally figured out what might be the culprit: My phone seems to forget what day it is. Right now it's saying that it's 6/3/2008. Earlier this morning I was reminded of everything in my calendar and I noticed the phone thought it was September 2009. The time of day is correct only the day is wrong. After a while the date reverts to today's date (and in fact it just did while I was typing this.)Is this a Samsung problem an AT&T problem a Good Messaging problem or a problem with our company server link to Good? Do you have automatic updates turned on?  (Start - Settings - Date and Time - Auto Update).  If so then you are getting time and date from the cell phone network and you may have a nearby tower in your area out of whack.  If so you may want to disable the automatic update for a while until they get it fixed.  (They the network guys will know about it it causes other problems too) I do not know if newer Treos have this automatic update but I do know that older ones (600 and older) did not.  For me. BlackJack is first phone I've seen that updates time and date from the cell network.  Not sure if there are others. Thanks. I've turned off the auto update and we'll see what happens. This never happened on my E62 so it may be related to 3G network. (I'd still have the E62 but I've discovered they don't like having beer dumped on their keypads.) I'm at the Singapore Airlines sit in Korea. Sorry for the dearth of material recently. Aside from the normal jaunt headaches the Internet service where I was staying decided to egest out the last couple of days. It doesn't be like I missed a whole lot. The Democratic consider looked pretty pointless..."Ooh. Hillary didn't go flat on her face what a trooper." And what's up with John Edwards getting booed? Is that audience there for a debate or ? Anyhow - the update to the Blackjack is supposed to land on AT&T's shores November 21st the same day as the. The Blackjack II is essentially just a refresh of the original Blackjack but it does undergo some improved specs (including Windows Mobile 6 a much bigger battery and AGPS). We got a look at it at CTIA. . Overall we're actually pretty excited for the Blackjack II - it's not a stunner but it's a solid call back. We especially like the 5-way/scroll wheel - Microsoft should really force their manufacturers to alter that standard issue. A quick note - that AGPS - it's the standard “kinda sorta GPS” that we're starting to get to know and it's very likely only going to bring home the bacon with TeleNav.
