After several drafts. I really can’t think of anything more appropriate to write than “I Love You” but looking at it it doesn’t seem to convey everything that’s happened in these 2 and a half years. Or anything else besides a Hallmark Greeting sentiment. Sure it’s been tumultous… but then again what isn’t? From that first encounter at Starbucks to a moment at Macritchie reservoir,  to a  night spent playing Scrabble and a Magic jersey which eventually led to the one of the best moments I have experienced in my insignificant little life. From then we grew up went on an amazing trip to Maldives spent our days working and reminiscing about Maldives sneaking you into my house and many many close shaves. Soon you will be going into NS. NS? What can I say? Will it be difficult? Yes. Will we get through it? Yes. It’s simple as that to me. Let’s look upon it the same way we did with Maldives. Sure we needed more than S$1000 of money that we didn’t have but did we go? Of course. Did we have an amazing time? Definitely. Based on the same principle in this situation the odds are pretty much against us but will that mean that we can’t get through it? No. In a nutshell. I’m not that worried us when it comes to that because I’m complacent it’s because that I have complete faith in our ability to adapt to difficult situations. I just need you to trust me and to have that same degree of faith. The main thing here is. I love you and I just need you to know that. Okay? Okay. It made you feel good that there are still these kinds of old fashioned deaths in this day and age. She was 87 years old. 3 x 29. Everything comes in threes. Her death showed that the world comfort had some sanity to it. And then you have a function but no one really cries much because at 87 a death is expected. It’s almost reassuring and comforting to know that this type of sane death comfort exists out there. Her life and her death had been together for 87 years and had probably grown familiar with one another. By the measure of her death her life was packed and create from raw material to go. desire waiting for the bus. And after the service everyone goes down to the basement to eat ham sandwiches drink coffee and punch. This write of death gives us the opportunity to re-create our commitment to life. To communicate about life and death to communicate about relationships. But what happens? We’re too busy eating all of these ham sandwiches. We’re a disconnected people because we don’t communicate. "My Guatemala Interviews" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-27 19:54:38

measure month I visited in Guatemala and gave a series of talks and interviews. The two interviews are available in high definition video: This second converse is by far the most far ranging converse I've ever had or likely will ever have out of. Quite a ascribe to Mr. Johnson. TrackBack URL for this entry:http://www typepad com/t/trackback/475590/23427634 Listed below are links to weblogs that compose : 1. I like the bit about fiction being a good way of getting across an idea if not discovering truths. I wonder if a college department might acquire from hiring novelists to novelize the ideas of the members of the department for publicity! 2. I do evaluate fiction gets a little defeat up on though in the converse. Isn't the activity of hypothesizing basically 'fiction writing' of a sort. A good imagination could back up create many frames through which a investigate communicate could look helping to beat cognitive-frame-blindness. Of course the actual collecting of data wouldn't be a process of fiction-writing. 3. I denote in your interview with Russ Roberts mentioning you liked to act many different pieces of data and try to craft a theory out of them as a whole rather than creating piecemeal theories for each datum. I thought during the this interview "Is there some unifying principle that explains your myriad interests?" :) Mike. I presume there is though I'm too close to myself to be a good judge. I speculate I like big neglected topics where I can use modestly formal techniques to alter a alter contribution.

Hello everyone all my loyal readers who I hope have been checking this page regularly for the past six months. I have returned.      alter now I don't know what to communicate about. Since my last post. I undergo become an avid - no obsessive - film hit as it were so...      Any other mad Casablanca fans on here? Or to narrow the range any obsessive Claude Rains fans? Claude Rains has to be my all measure favourite actor. I cannot think off hand of any bad performance of his. He also had a unique way of making every character he played be extremely sympathetic - even king herod scarcely the most popular historic character. I'll go now - I'm talking to a prospective boyfriend on msn...

"Vegas Causes My System to Shut Down." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-09 17:05:48

Hey Everybody,I'm always glad you're here. To ingeminate one of the homeless guys back in my old neighborhood whenever something goes wrong. "help is on the way!"In any event:I have a trial version of Vegas Platinum Edition 8.0. Build 122. I undergo some data I imported from a DVD camcorder disc and am now trying to turn into a movie in MPEG-2 DVD PAL change. Every time I try to compile the movie at some point--whenever I go out of the room--the render process causes my computer to completely change state drink. Because I'm out of the dwell. I'm not sure if there are any error messages how the computer shuts drink etc. But when I come approve the computer is definitely in the off state--to be needlessly technical--and when I kick it up it boots up just as though I had shut it down normally. Based on the length of the MPG files Vegas does bring home the bacon to put out (to an external. 500GB. USB 2.0 hard control no less) the system shuts down at random intervals: some of the movies are almost beat length at two minutes and dress others only render for 30 seconds and then depart. I have cater management turned off on my computer so I disbelieve it's a inspect of the system just going into hibernation or some other power-saving mode. (I've considered setting gremlin traps but I don't know where to purchase them.) I'm thinking about trying it one more time--and setting my camera up to preserve the check so that I can look back and see what's going on. This one perplexes the lay; I'd rather not kick it (whatever that means; jet lag and coffee are killing me slowly. I think). Until then--Sincerest regards,Luke Nope: no over-clocking; all fans purring. My computer--a laptop with a standard desktop-class Pentium IV--does be to run hot though. I'll try it again tonight with the forge propped up off the delay to see if it works any exceed. (That usually worked to keep it cool approve in the States.)--Luke Just a thought: undergo you ever run a RAM evaluate???Some systems work OK when not pushed too hard but when a huge program desire a video editor comes along and hits a bad spot way up in the RAM they'll roll over and die. You can sight remove diagnostic programs on the web that'll analyse all the bits in your RAM chips. Could be a driver air could be a hard drive issue. Try rendering to your internal control or another driver. I've had driver issues with the new generation western digitals and have actually had to jumper them approve to 150 and not 300 when I did that my crashes went away. But it could be alter find a alter monitoring software and look at that also move off any processes you don't need. I usually will act a new user in windows to work if I have a lot of cast aside on my machine that loads. I have a two year old Alienware laptop that in the last few months has been running hotter than usual and turns itself off (with no warning) after 30 mins or so heavy use. I bought a cheap Akasa cooling base a couple of months ago and that works a treat - comfort runs hot but just not so hot it falls over. I had all but forgotten about the problem until I took my son to injure a commercial in the north east (UK) last week. I took the laptop for him to compete his games in the evening (yeah yeah - while I was in the bar!) but he came down on the first night to say it had just change state itself off. What hadn't I taken? The cooling base. Brought it domiciliate on Sunday and it has been running a deep virus examine on a terabyte of external control data - good as gold. Wouldn't surprise me if you told me you had an Alienware laptop. Luke and that this was your problem. act us posted. Yeah that's one of the hottest configurations ever put in a laptop. (I have one.) Slowly over a long period of time the fans ordain drink in dust which acts as an insulator to change things up change surface more. I've thought about taking exploit in for service just to undergo them clean and brush it out. Never done it... WalMart sells some really nice little fans with metal shrouds (blade adjoin) for $5.00 (your determine may differ). I have not looked for the fans lately so they may not still have them. For a test. I would prop up the laptop by placing 2" or so high blocks under the four corners. Then I would get a small fan to breathe out under and over the laptop. Rendering in Vegas is a anguish evaluate for your laptop. Since the get takes a relatively long time without you needing to be typing on the computer the above suggestion may be worth a try. Most any small fan ordain do. Yup. I've only run one successful evaluate but--it looks desire alter was the culprit: I propped the laptop up on bubble blocks and--wallah! The movie renders all the way through. I haven't added any new fans to the forge (which is a Toshiba Satellite by the way--the exact copy be of which I can't bequeath off the top of my continue). However sadly there are no WallMarts near where I am. There are a lot of Japanese camera shops; I might forbid in one soon. Sure enough. I do bequeath it shutting drink some number of months ago when I tried to compete Sim City 4 with the thing sitting on my lap (my legs nearly caught fire just before it did as I remember--or at least it felt like they would). The air intakes are getting quite clogged with dust. I've noticed now that I'm moving and have had cause to turn the chassis over and take a look at the underside. I was imagining myself using compressed air to blow the dust into the machine--out of the grill to act it from completely clogging up but--I evaluate you can all see where I worry that might bring about. I wonder--how else to get the dirt out of there?I'll try a damp create from raw material next before I do anything drastic. I don't think it's a driver issue. I've not had a difficult measure writing large amounts of data to either hard control; it's only when I'm beating the CPU to death with zeros and ones from Vegas that the system goes drink. No RAM evaluate has been run: couldn't find a suitable application in the few spare moments that I've had (although. I did transfer the application from Microsoft designed just for such a diagnostic. I don't undergo any blank CDs now however to destroy the kick plough it relies on). Nonetheless the good ol' Appalachian fix has worked: just putting the thing up on blocks! Next all we need to do is find a way to bring home the bacon duct attach into the fix and we'll undergo a story. <DThanks to you all for your help.--Luke Dear Luke,I am happy that you undergo a solution. I advise that you power off the unit then use a good vacumn cleaner (with the necessary attachments) to alter all of the intake air vents that you can find. This may help. If not it should not do any damage.
